The action on the Swimming River Reservoir today is fairly active. Common Mergansers, Bald Eagles, Canadian Geese, Mallards, Hooded Mergansers, Belted Kingfishers.
My bird alert shows someone taking a picture of a “Golden Eagle” on a treetop. Even though the pictures taken were out of focus, the bird looks more like an immature Bald Eagle. It’s an easy mistake to make.
